Project Aim and Description

Migrants in the UK face a greater risk of mental health issues due to various challenges, including discrimination, limited access to healthcare and housing, financial difficulties, and the trauma of displacement. The RECONNECTED project addresses this concern by conducting two studies aimed at enhancing the resilience and mental well-being of migrants from not Western countries.

The first study seeks to deepen our understanding of the risk and protective factors influencing mental health among non-Western migrants in the UK.

The second study focuses on developing and evaluating a digital support system designed to promote resilience and mental health within this group.
